Conference Webcast
Calit2 is providing a live webcast of the conference proceedings. During conference hours, you can watch the talks and panel discussions by going to http://rpvss.ucsd.edu:8080/ramgen/encoder/archive/firstmile.rm
To watch the real-time webcast, Real player is required and a broadband connection is preferred.
After the conclusion of the conference, archived versions of the webcasts will be made available from the Calit2 Multimedia site at http://www.calit2.net/multimedia.
Chat Rooms
An AIM and a Jabber chat room will be available for all conference attendees -- in-person and virtual -- to participate in the discussions and Q&A sessions. You will need either an AIM ID and/or a Jabber ID to participate. For more information on obtaining an AIM ID, visit the AIM website. For more information on obtaining a Jabber ID and software, visit the Jabber website. We recommend Exodus as a Jabber client for windows machines, and Adium for macs. For more clients, visit http://www.jabber.org/software/clients.shtml.
If you wish to participate in the chat rooms, please take a moment to register as a virtual attendee so we can keep you up to date of chat room names, invite you to the chat rooms, and any other details that may arise.

A conference room has been set up on the conference.jabber.org server. Use your client to join a chat room. If you register as a virtual attendee, we will send you an invitation to the chat room Wednesday morning. Feel free to join the chat room at any time.
