Big broadband advocates came from around the nation to start the discussion about how to get to big broadband everywhere. This one day event looked at killer applications in entertainment, education and healthcare as well as the gadgets that will help individuals access applications in a meaningful way.
The keynote was given by Vinton Cerf, widely-renowned as the father of the Internet. And, as a special event, the first-ever Big Broadband Everywhere honors were awarded to Senators Frank Lautenberg and John McCain during the luncheon.
